Leftists are claiming the “white privilege” of NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo saved him from being charged for the death of Eric Garner, a claim which conveniently ignores white police abuse victims Kelly Thomas and James Boyd.
After a Staten Island grand jury chose not to indict the NYPD officer today for killing Garner with a chokehold during an altercation over untaxed cigarettes, numerous progressives and media pundits jumped on Twitter to complain about “white privilege” instead of focusing on police brutality which affects all Americans regardless of race.

Frustrated Lawmakers urged President Obama to launch stronger U.S. action against extremists in Iraq and Syria, with both Democrats and Republicans calling for a more aggressive strategy against the group known as Islamic State.
“What is President Obama waiting for?” Rep. Peter King asked said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”
“We can’t wait forever. And the longer we do wait, the stronger ISIS becomes, more people are massacred and the more America and Britain become at risk.”

This year’s Supreme Court decisions didn’t turn out well for the Obama ad- ministration. And June in particular was a bad month for President Obama considering that in just one week, he was rebuked four times on issues ranging from organized labor to contraception mandates. But do these rulings really matter if the people working in our federal agencies are never held accountable for lawless behavior?
Obama’s power over the federal government doesn’t end with his “pen and phone” agenda. Most of the real policy decisions are made by bureaucrats inside federal agencies. And Obama has purposefully created an atmosphere where career bureaucrats are both rewarded for helping his administration’s political goals and punished for thwarting them.

A new national survey conducted by the Associated Press suggests that illegal immigration and the border crisis could be morphing into major political liabilities for Democrats ahead of the midterm elections. Key take-aways:
(1) President Obama’s approval/disapproval rating on the issue (considered “extremely” or “very” serious by 67 percent of voters) is underwater by…37 points:
(2) Republicans are now more trusted on handling immigration policy, a 10-point swing since mid-May:

The Washington Times reported on Tuesday that:
Talk of impeachment was cooked up by a White House desperate for something to rally Democrats ahead of November’s elections, House Speaker John A. Boehner said Tuesday, flatly ruling out any action on the controversial suggestion.
“We have no plans to impeach the president. We have no future plans,” Mr. Beohner said. “Listen, it’s all a scam started by Democrats at the White House.”
But PJM’s own Andrew McCarthy, a former federal prosecutor, has a very different take, both in terms of Mr. Obama, and of the general concept of impeachment itself.

Monday, my wife and I decided to go to a ‘Meet and Greet’ in downtown Prescott. We were very surprised to find a very well qualified and humble candidate in Christine Jones. Ms. Jones has roots in Arizona having helped establish GoDaddy as one of the largest internet service providers for business in the world. We found that she has an extremely good understanding of technology, one of the keys to the success of her campaign, so far.
Christine Jones is just what Arizona needs now to help us continue some of the work Gov. Jan Brewer has begun. While she is married to a military man, she has a solid understanding of business and law with regard to the issues facing Arizona. Jones is an accomplished CPA and Attorney, but moreover, she knows people of our state. She connects with people. She is well versed in the current problems we are facing, especially border security.
Christine Jones does not seem to be the “establishment” type as she has never held public office, but establishment candidates have really pounced on her with ads that are without reason, truth or cause. We feel Christine is a solid candidate to serve the people of Arizona and are hereby endorsing her as a candidate. She will help us tackle the problems we are facing during a very unstable period in our nation.

President Obama is holding off on seeking legal changes to speed up the deportation process for illegal immigrant children, but is seeking more money than initially expected from Congress to deal with the crisis on the U.S.-Mexico border.
The president sent a massive $3.7 billion request seeking funds for everything from transportation costs to border enforcement to surveillance to health services.
Officials said they are taking an “aggressive” approach.

Five years ago, I publicly raised questions about Bowe Bergdahl’s desertion from Blackfoot Company, 1-501 Infantry (Airborne), 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division.
A few weeks after his so-called “capture” in late June 2009, three conflicting accounts surfaced: U.S. officials told the Associated Press Bergdahl had “walked off” the base with three Afghans; the Taliban claimed on its website that “a drunken American soldier had come out of his garrison” and into their arms; and Bergdahl claimed in his Taliban “hostage video” that he had “lagged behind a patrol” before being captured.
